Mónika Meiczinger graduated from the University of Veszprém in 2004 as a chemical engineer in the field of Operations and Environmental Protection. She started to work as a student in the autumn of 2002 at the Department of Chemical Engineering Science, when she studied the modification of starch, which uses as renewable raw materials in many fields of industry and environmentally friendly additives. She’s thesis was also made on this topic, entitled "Starch-based anionic flocculants production and qualification".

She’s doctoral thesis was written on the development of environmental friendly fertilizer additives, which is able to provide a sustained release of micro-components.

She joined to the Pannon University, Research Institute of Biomolecular and Chemical Engineering in 2010. She’s main task was to produce bacterial binding proteins, which are the basis of various bio-sensors.

She is currently working on the development and production of multifunctional nanoparticles for use in medical and environmental protections. To this nanoparticles can be bounded active substances, contrast agents, enzymes and molecules that help to detected and to healed the cancer illness.
